I have an open plan living room with an open staircase, I approached Gavin about covering the opening to make it safer and I couldn’t be more happy with the overall result. Gavin brought round a sample of the oak so I knew the size of the runs and the different colours of varnishes for the finish. The team arrived on time, fully prepared and were professional throughout and cleaned up after themselves. I can not recommend them enough and I will be using them for future projects.
This was the 5th (separate) job that Gavin has carried out at my home. Previous work included resizing cabinet, batoning this, plus old cupboard, to interior walls; repairing landing floor plus flight of 13 stairs; laying kitchen floor; laying 2 bedroom floors (all with Evocore Premium). 4 jobs involved moving around a considerable amount of furniture and disposing of waste (e.G. Carpet). The staircase had very tricky access issues. I'd very much like to thank Joe and Archie too, who worked with Gavin some days. I can't speak highly enough of everyone and the quality of their work. Excellent!
Gavin and Archie were on time, clean and tidy and left no mess at the end of each day. The work was of a high standard from start to finish. Gavin kept me informed of any problems and gave me alternatives. I have no hesitation in recommending GE Carpentry
Apologies for the late review ! .We were delighted to have Gavin work on this project as it was not straightforward and required a lot of creativity and flexibility. From the first time we spoke Gavin really impressed us with his knowledge and expertise. He ensured that all aspects of the work were completed to a very high standard. Despite delaying our start date due to a roof leak, Gavin provided a revised schedule which fitted in with the other work which needed to be done. Overall we were extremely pleased with the work and look forward to working with Gavin and his team in the future.
